As Founder and President of POI, James W. Wilson, Jr., CPP (Jim) brings over twenty (20) years of experience in security consulting and fraud investigations relating to businesses and corporations, legal matters and insurance claims.

Mr. Wilson’s philosophy is to partner with POI clients when exploring their insurance, legal, or corporate security matters.

Mr. WIlson also assists clients with business development issues in physical security and security operations.

Prior to founding POI, Mr. Wilson served as a Special Agent in The Federal Bureau of Investigation and as a Detective / Police Officer in the Philadelphia Police Department.

After his career in law enforcement, Mr. Wilson filled executive management positions with three (3) private investigation and security firms, served as a security consultant to corporations providing security surveys, handling sensitive separation issues and investigating workplace violence matters, and worked as a fraud investigator for insurance companies specializing in casualty and general liability concerns..

Currently, Mr. Wilson handles consultations relating to corporate security matters including business development, investigations, pre and post employment screening services, loss prevention and related arising issues.

Mr. Wilson has contributed to publications dealing with corporate security and investigations and has been a featured speaker in these areas.

Mr. Wilson has been a licensed private investigator in Pennsylvania and New Jersey since 1990.

Mr. Wilson has been designated as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) with ASIS International and serves as Vice Chairman in the local ASIS International South Jersey Chapter where he also instructs in chapter sponsored CPP test preparation courses.

Mr. Wilson earned a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Political Science from La Salle University and a Masters of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Saint Joseph’s University
